These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Appliance Marketplace website and repair services. By booking a service or using this site, you agree to these Terms.
Appliance Marketplace provides in-home diagnostic and repair services for household appliances (refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, freezers, wine coolers and similar). We also operate an “Open Box Appliances” marketplace showcasing new, scratch-and-dent or previously-installed inventory. All products in the open-box marketplace are sold subject to a separate item-specific quote and warranty.
Every repair is backed by a 90-day written warranty on both parts installed by us and labour performed. The warranty does not cover: pre-existing conditions unrelated to the repair; damage caused by misuse, neglect, accident, or unauthorized service; commercial appliances; parts supplied by the customer.
By submitting a booking form or chat request, you consent to be contacted by phone, SMS, or email regarding your appointment. Message and data rates may apply for SMS.
You agree not to use this website in any way that violates any applicable law, infringes on the rights of others, or interferes with the operation of the site. All content on this site — including logos, images, service descriptions, and text — is the property of Appliance Marketplace and may not be reused without permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a repair is limited to the amount paid for that repair. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of food, lost income, or damage from a pre-existing condition.
Products displayed on our Open-Box Appliances page are shown for information only and are not a binding offer. Availability, condition, pricing, and warranty terms are confirmed at the time of purchase. Open-box items may have cosmetic imperfections which are disclosed prior to sale.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
